Eric Swofford brings to Servants For Sight valuable experience in both international and local missions. He ran a vision screening clinic in the Dominican Republic, then returned to the Upstate and volunteered for a number of local vision screenings aboard our Vision Van. He now serves as Volunteer Coordinator and Church Liaison.
Eric enthusiastically serves our local and global community through offering the gifts of physical and spiritual sight. He oversees and participates in local vision screenings and works to prepare groups who travel abroad who offer vision screenings in underserved areas.
Eric grew up in Spartanburg County, SC and holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Yale University. He and his wife, Heather, reside in Greenville, where they are members of First Presbyterian Church. They enjoy cycling together on the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Eric also maintains a financial coaching practice at YesEric.com. They have a son serving in the U.S. Marine Corps and a daughter who attends Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, GA.
